Over 578 acres in Angwin, Napa County being sold off by PUC
In the Napa Valley Register (10 May 2016) the agricultural land opportunity currently being marketed by PUC of 578.5 acres was discussed (Eberling). It has been marketed for years as one large parcel, but with a lot split is now five separate parcels. The land would best be used for vineyards with an estate home. Residents seem to be okay with that use, but are concerned that many of the trees could be removed for vines.
There already are three timber-clearing requests around Angwin for vineyards that are of concern to residents.
